Hi All that have come to the dungeon of literally everything stitching related. I love to Cross Stitch, Sew, Quilt, crochet and many other things as well. I could tell you all the things I don't do which would have been faster but this year I am planning on adding even more to the list of accomplishments.
I've been stitching since I was 11 so that would be around 40 years, I did take a break while having children so that was well over 15 years and I didn't touch anything and the years really went by, so many new things came out while I was raising kids and cross-stitch became a huge hit all over again. It was amazing to see and honestly a bit overwhelming as well.
I have some huge goals this year but if you have seen any of my stuff out there you will have already known I don't seem to have little project. I have a few but many are way over the top.
Goals for the year.
I will be doing two WIPGO boards from Jessie Does Stuff. She has an facebook and youtube channel that explains it all. I have however gone a bit overboard this year. I've not started many things over the last few years so my TBS (to be started) pile was way overflowing so I'm taking care of that. I will be starting 25 New projects and spinning the wheel from 100 - 1000 stitches those projects will get.
I'm also doing a Finished WIPGO board as well. Some of these are far behind a finish so I'll be working on them monthly to make sure they are done in 2025. I will say this is going to be a huge feat in itself but I'm super excited to hopefully have 25 finishes. Time will certainly tell.
I will also participate in the stitch from stash because we all know that we do not need to totally spend each paycheck. (Said no one ever 😂). This is a facebook group as well that Stephanie runs. It's amazing and can keep you on track if you fall off the wagon so what it brings you back to reality.
One of the projects I've been working on for a VERY long time and will not be done in 2025 is my Trick or Treat HEAD by Randal Spangler charted by Heaven and Earth Designs. You will see it a lot this year and excited to get some progress on this piece. 50% is a huge chunk to say I'll get to but it would be a pure delight if it happened.
One last thing I am doing is stitching in every WIP I have. I think I have close to 70 of them. I will be picking a few each month and spinning the wheel from 100 - 1000 to see how many stitches each WIP gets. I hope to get through two totes worth of projects. If I actually finish both totes I might go through them again. We will see, I feel just getting any stitches in those projects is amazing.
Well here goes 2025 lets see how amazing she is going to be.
